About the Role
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery (LDRP) Nurse to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. As an LDRP Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to patients in the LDRP setting, striving to deliver exceptional care through assessment and planning.
- You will welcome each perinatal patient to the LDRP Unit and promote a sense of security in the care they will receive.
- You will demonstrate expertise in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- You will respond promptly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- You will communicate effectively with physicians regarding patients' clinical conditions.
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the LDRP setting.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatments.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse License.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification – preferred not required.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
- Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
- One or more years of Labor and Delivery experience strongly preferred.
