As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Procedures: Perform MRI scans on patients to produce high-quality diagnostic images, following established protocols and procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and performing at optimal levels.
- Quality Control: Ensure all imaging procedures are performed in accordance with established quality control standards, maintaining high-quality images and patient safety.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient imaging processes.
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited MRI program or ARRT-R certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist, with a strong background in MRI imaging procedures and patient care.
- Certifications: Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
