Job Summary

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant to fill a 13-week locum tenens position in Everett, WA. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $90-$100 and the chance to work with a top hospital and healthcare system.

Responsibilities
  • Medical History and Physical Exams: Conduct thorough medical histories and physical exams to assess patient health and identify potential issues.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Diagnostics and Procedures: Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Surgical Assistance: Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in surgeries and other medical procedures.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Qualifications
  • Active Physician Assistant License: Possess an active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in the state of employment.

  • Medical Data Analysis: Ability to interpret and analyze medical data and lab results to inform patient care.
  • Electronic Medical Records: Proficiency in electronic medical records and technology to ensure accurate documentation and care coordination.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork skills with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Working Hours
  • Shift Schedule: 5, 8-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Master's Degree: Possess a Master of Medical Science (MMSc) degree or a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) degree.
  • National Certification: National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Continued Medical Education: Commit to continued medical education (CME) to maintain NCCPA certification and medical licenses.
