Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including conveyors, lifts, switches, photo sensors, motors, and other machinery.
  • Monitor production lines and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
  • Obtain work orders from supervisors, obtain necessary supplies, and prepare for operations.
  • Create requisitions for parts and supplies for repairs and maintain parts inventory.
  • Lubricate motors, pumps, and bearings, change oil pumps, gear boxes, and compressors.
  • Secure equipment, perform general housekeeping duties, and complete work records on our computerized maintenance system.
  • Assist operators with line changeovers and respond to calls in other areas.
  • Assist departments, vendors, contractors, and other departments with equipment repair, maintenance, rebuilding, and installation.
  • Test parts, assemblies, equipment, and systems for proper operation and make necessary adjustments.
  • Attend training as required, including Quality Control and Human Resources.
Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED, or technical school diploma preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in the maintenance field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to use or learn to use equipment and tools needed for the job.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to submit and pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
