Weighmaster

This position is responsible for accurately weighing and ticketing customer trucks. The weighmaster will maintain records related to ticketing operations and assist in the safe entry and exit of all visitors and customers through site training and instruction. This position is also responsible for loading customer vehicles as needed.

• Operate an automated scale and related computer software program to generate customer tickets
• Administer site-specific training to visitors and ensure site guidelines are followed
• Direct customers to the appropriate areas of the site
• Maintain accurate records of aggregate tonnage and sales activities on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and prepare basic reports
• Communicate with other site personnel to ensure proper recording of sales activities and fulfillment of customer needs
• Answer customer calls and communicate pricing, product descriptions, and product availability
• Maintain professionalism in all situations in the workplace and when working with customers
• Aide in the training of co-workers as needed

• Must be safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated
• Will take an active role in the plant safety initiatives
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Willing to cross-train in different areas of production

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Bilingual abilities are preferred (Spanish and English)

• Able to ensure a safe work environment by prioritizing safety, then quality, followed by production
