Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the entire contract billing cycle, including the preparation and issuance of invoices. This will involve working closely with the MD finance team and Global AR team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing financial analyses and reports, maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, and assisting with annual audit preparations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire contract billing cycle, including the preparation and issuance of invoices.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Process and maintain invoices within the ERP system.
  • Be the liaison between the MD finance team and Global AR team.
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff as required or assigned.
  • Assist the Site Finance Leadership on various financial reporting matters to support in strategic decision making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • CPA, CMA, CFA is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in public accounting (audits, consulting, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with US GAAP standards/ASC is a strong plus.
  • Full understanding of the three financial statements.
