We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Renal PCU Charge Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of professionals, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Job SummaryThe Renal PCU Charge Nurse is a full-time position that requires 36 hours of work per week. You will be working on a 12-hour night shift in our state-of-the-art hospital, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
About the SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $83,500-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with renal failure, including those undergoing dialysis or transplant procedures.
- Lead a team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve unit goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Texas RN license.
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A competitive salary range of $83,500-$110,000 per year.
