This position is a great opportunity to work as a Chiropractic Physician in the Veterans Health Administration. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
The job involves providing examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of non-operative musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. You will develop plans, coordinate, evaluate, and integrate all program elements into a comprehensive chiropractic program for the medical center.
You will be an advisor and consultant to pain management service needs and assist with developing both short and long-range continuous improvements. Additionally, you will develop and/or update and implement appropriate policies, procedures, plans, and service agreements that guide and support the Chiropractic Patient Care Services.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing and treating referred patients with physical dysfunctions due to orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and/or neuromuscular disorders of the spine, peripheral joints, and soft tissues such as sprains/strains, disc herniations, degenerative, developmental, and acquired conditions of the spine and extremities.
Responsibilities will include ordering diagnostic studies and establishing a treatment plan based on interview, clinical findings, and study results. You will also exhibit leadership in initiating changes in patient care programs based on current concepts and research study findings.
