Key Responsibilities:
As an OB/GYN Specialist, your duties will encompass:
- Assessing and diagnosing a range of conditions affecting the female reproductive system, including but not limited to pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and hormonal disorders. You will employ various diagnostic techniques, including biopsies and colposcopies, while providing preventive care and education to patients in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic.
- Interpreting laboratory results and clinical findings to determine appropriate treatment plans and follow-up care for patients.
- Conducting both abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasound examinations as part of outpatient care.
- Engaging in the educational training initiatives within the department to foster the development of future healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Possession of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- A valid, unrestricted medical license from a U.S. state or territory.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, along with relevant clinical experience.
