We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN Stroke Coordinator to join our team at Hca Florida Largo Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients with strokes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical practice guidelines for stroke care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes and improve care processes.
- Analyze and present stroke outcome data to inform quality improvement initiatives and drive positive change.
- Work closely with providers, coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists to ensure accurate and comprehensive patient documentation.
- Coordinate Disease-Specific Certification related to Stroke, maintaining program compliance with Joint Commission and DNV standards.
- Current Florida RN license
- RN, BSN preferred
- 3-5 years clinical experience, with Critical Care or ER experience preferred
- Familiarity with The Joint Commission, Medicare, and State requirements
- Extensive computer knowledge and experience with EMR, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HPF applications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required within 30 days of employment
