We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Lam Research. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing top-notch on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for our complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues with our equipment.
  • Provide technical instruction and mentoring to junior engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through ongoing learning, training, and certification.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in installation, maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
  • Able to work in a clean room environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment.
  • Frequent travel, both domestically and internationally, may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
