Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Children's Hospital New Orleans. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and treatment to patients in the pediatric emergency department.
- Collaborate with the clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Perform routine examinations, diagnose, and provide treatment for illnesses and injuries to promote patients' overall well-being.
- Provide immunizations according to medical or school guidelines.
- Completed residency training in pediatric emergency medicine.
- Doctoral degree in medicine or osteopathy.
- American Heart Association, Basic Life Support-HCP, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
- Medical Physician Licensure through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Strong medical skills, computer software skills, and working knowledge of ICD- and CPT-4.
