Job Summary

MonteCedro is seeking a reliable and courteous Class B Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation of residents to outings, medical appointments, and personal appointments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a passenger vehicle safely and efficiently, monitoring traffic, road conditions, and weather to ensure timely arrivals to appointments and outings.
  • Assist residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle, which may include loading and unloading packages, personal assistive devices, and operation and use of ramps and lifts as needed.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure it is cleaned, fueled, and properly functioning, and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
  • California Class B Driver's License with passenger endorsement in good standing.
  • Three years of similar experience.
  • Driving record and experience must meet the requirements to maintain coverage under ECS' auto insurance policy.
  • Experience working with the public required; working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to work independently within the schedule assigned.
  • Knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
