Job Overview

Banner Quality Management Inc. is seeking a Graphic Communications Specialist to provide support for our Navy client at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC).

Key Responsibilities:

· The Specialist will be responsible for producing NSWC Crane-branded visual content, including business and technical presentations, banners, web graphics, posters, brochures, and instructional videos for the Corporate Communications Office.

· This role involves creating multimedia products that blend design, photography, audio, and video elements, while independently researching and coordinating content.

· The Specialist will prepare and refine briefings, covers, brochures, presentations, and posters for distribution to NSWC Command personnel.

· The Specialist will review and edit articles for local military and civilian publications that highlight command-level initiatives. All generated data will be owned by the Government as per contractual agreements.

· The Specialist will develop written articles and graphical materials for distribution to NSWC Command personnel, which may include magazines, newsletters, and other communication media featuring color text, graphics, and images.

· Responsibilities also include capturing and distributing photographs and approved videos of various events, as well as supporting data collection and communication outputs for the Corporate Communications Office.

· The Specialist will assist in documenting and photographing NSWC Crane events and distinguished visitor visits.

· The role requires support in designing, developing, and presenting graphics, displays, brochures, and other visual materials. Collaboration with project managers and team members is essential to create multifaceted communication materials across various mediums.

Qualifications:

• Expert-level experience in graphic design.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a graphic design-related field.

• Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to articulate design concepts.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a sense of urgency.

• Superior customer service skills and relationship management.

• Comprehensive knowledge of marketing, communications, branding, or public relations.

Microsoft Word: Advanced document formatting, template creation, and editing.

Microsoft Excel: Detailed spreadsheet management, data analysis, and chart development.
