Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Technology Specialist to join our team at Duke Health. As an Instructional Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning experiences that support the educational and training needs of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop e-learning courses and curricula to support business objectives and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop solutions.
  • Develop and maintain learning management system (LMS) courses and curricula to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of LMS and other learning technologies.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze data to inform training program development and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement training programs to support business objectives and operational needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, training, and development.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing e-learning courses and curricula.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Experience in developing and implementing training programs to support business objectives and operational needs.
