We are seeking a highly organized and committed individual to join our culinary team as a Dishroom Attendant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of clean dishes, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of our dining room.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing flatware, dishes, pans, and pots.
- Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning kitchen machines and appliances.
- Assist with unloading delivery trucks, cleaning cook stations, kitchen appliances, and machines.
- Help other team members with tasks as needed.
- Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements:
- Ability to work on feet for 10 hour shifts.
- Proficient awareness of kitchen cleanliness.
- At least minimal work experience as a dishwasher.
- Proficient in operating with different types of dishes.
- Knowledge and adherence to all food safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to lift 25lbs overhead onto a shelf and 50lbs frequently throughout the shift.
