As the Director of Critical Care at Piedmont Healthcare, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational aspects of assigned departments. This includes managing cost and finance, human resources, operations, quality of care, and clinical outcomes. You will also be responsible for promoting patient, physician, and staff satisfaction, as well as change management and other relevant responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standards of performance, policies, and procedures for designated areas of responsibility.
- Organize and manage the areas of responsibility in accordance with administrative guidelines to provide specified nursing and patient care services.
- Manage and implement change initiatives to improve quality of care and patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe work environment and culture, and promote excellence in customer care.
- Oversee planning, growth, and strategic initiatives for assigned departments.
- Provide advisory support to the Vice President of Patient Services in evaluating proposed changes.
- Direct the implementation and ensure compliance with standards of nursing and professional practice that promote optimum healthcare delivery.
- Identify opportunities for improved customer value.
- Manage quality patient care and quality patient outcomes.
- Manage patient, physician, and staff satisfaction.
- Collect and analyze data to improve performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required
Graduate of a School of Nursing.
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of seven (7) years of nursing experience, including a minimum of three (3) years of progressive management experience.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
