Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Formulation Chemist to join our team at Fuchs Lubricants Co. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience in formulating lubricants and coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain new product formulations and existing product lines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales, manufacturing, and marketing initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer needs to align R&D priorities with business goals
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate technical excellence and customer intimacy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 5-7 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in the lubricant or coatings industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex data
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in formulation techniques for lubricants and coatings
  • Familiarity with dispersing methods (e.g., high shear mixing, milling)
  • Knowledge of tribology and wet/dry film testing
