Automotive Body Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Specialist to join our team at Mei Group in the Dallas-Ft. Worth region.
About the JobThis is a full-time position, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, requiring 2+ years of experience in auto body repair. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
- Bolt or weld replacement parts into position using power tools and welding equipment.
- Develop efficient methods for each job.
- Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections to original specifications.
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicles and fenders.
- Attention to Detail: Good eyesight is essential for achieving high-quality results.
- Technical Skills: Auto body technicians use a wide range of tools and equipment to assess and repair vehicles.
- Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.
- Certification in body repair is preferred.
- Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience.
