Route Helper

At L&F Distributors, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Route Helper to join our team in El Paso. As a Route Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting our drivers to deliver product orders and maintain assigned accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Learn and assist with all of the driver's duties, including vehicle maintenance, delivery, and safety, among others.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our customers.
- Stock shelves and handle out-of-stock and distribution issues.
- Maintain existing displays and shelf sets and assist with building new displays.
- Monitor the freshness of products at each account and ensure rotation or removal to meet company standards.
- Assist with route schedules to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Complete training, seminars, and classes as assigned.
- Sell products in accordance with company guidelines and T.A.B.C. (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) regulations.
- Perform job duties in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Act.
- Complete and submit required reports accurately and on time.
- Assist with merchandising as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Good time management skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposure to frequent sitting. May have to lift up to 50 pounds.
