About the Role

The Production Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our production team, responsible for coordinating and providing training, tools, and materials to meet schedule customer demand for a production area(s) of responsibility. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Supervisor to assign work and meet production goals
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure accurate forecasting and planning
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Manufacturing personnel to resolve machine downtime issues
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of production, labor, team members, and scrap

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
