Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nurse Director to lead our Medical Surgical Service Line. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations, budgets, and procedural controls of the service line, as well as identifying and implementing needed changes to maximize department performance.
About the Role: The Nurse Director will report to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and will oversee a team of Med Surg Nurse Managers, Coordinators, and RNs. You will be responsible for providing strong nursing leadership and guidance to your team, as well as collaborating with other organization leaders to achieve departmental goals.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations, budgets, and procedural controls of the Medical Surgical Service Line
- Identify and implement needed changes to maximize department performance
- Provide strong nursing leadership and guidance to the Med Surg Nurse Managers, Coordinators, and RNs
- Collaborate with other organization leaders to achieve departmental goals
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and outcomes
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Strong nursing leadership experience in a similar setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
