Position Overview:
This role is vital for the success of our retail operations.

As a retail sales representative, you will engage closely with both wholesale and retail clients to identify their needs, address inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest suitable solutions.

Your responsibilities will also include promptly addressing any customer issues to ensure optimal satisfaction, while staying informed about product features and maintaining the high quality and visual standards of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to achieve store sales objectives.
  • Assist customers in person and via phone by assessing their needs and presenting relevant products and services.
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain organized work order files and product formulas.
  • Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
  • Tint and mix products according to customer specifications.
  • Restock shelves and arrange displays to enhance product visibility.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store equipment and assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.
  • Support delivery operations as required.
  • Keep assigned areas well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and available options.
  • Adhere to inventory control protocols.
  • Propose strategies to enhance sales performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Must be capable of retrieving materials from shelves and floor stacks, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Hold at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience in selling paint and related products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish is desirable.
