Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a local school district in metro Portland, OR. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders, maintaining accurate service records, and evaluating students to make recommendations for speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Speech and Language Therapy: Provide speech and/or language therapy to students identified with communication disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Service Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records of students on caseload, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and regulations.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Evaluate students with suspected communication disorders, making recommendations for speech and language services as needed.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Provide comprehensive written reports of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines.
  • Goal Development: Develop speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), working collaboratively with other education staff to ensure integrated goals.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
  • Medicaid Billing: Participate in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.
Requirements
  • Oregon SLP License: Possess a valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.
