The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for development, maintenance, coordination, and implementation of the Quality Business System in assigned facilities.

They will apply knowledge of quality systems and interact with functional managers, engineers, and operators to meet quality requirements.


Responsibilities


Creates, maintains, and distributes documentation according to the Quality Manual, Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001, and other related standards.

Assists managers and supervisors in implementing, reviewing, and training Quality System documentation and related processes.

Troubleshoots electronic boards, inputs data into Pareto charts, and pinpoints fundamental root causes.

Assists in preparation for management reviews, internal audits, and 3rd party audits.

Generates work orders for internal rework processes and coordinates rework requirements with the engineering technician.

Maintains and controls Quality Business System records, applicable regulatory documents, and documents of external origin.

Manages and processes RMA, monitors corrective actions, internal audits (customer and internal) for resolution and effectiveness, and maintains documentation of corrective and preventive action activities.

Plans, manages, and conducts internal audits and serves as a Lead or Internal Auditor.

Provides ongoing support for the effective implementation and improvement of the Quality Business System.

Adheres to and maintains quality, environmental, and safety systems or maintenance of quality, environmental, and safety standards.


Requirements
Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001 and other quality standards applicable to the site.

Experience working with a SMT manufacturer, high mix/low volume.

Good communication skills, both written and oral.

Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Proficient knowledge of computers.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of two years experience in SMT environment.

Two years experience creating and maintaining documentation according to the ISO 9001 standard.
