About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel road equipment such as tractors and trailers while ensuring compliance with trucking regulations.
This role involves performing preventative maintenance, documenting repairs, handling road service calls, and maintaining a clean work environment. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly, and maintenance vehicles.
To ensure compliance with all state and federal trucking regulations, you must have excellent technical skills and attention to detail. Additionally, you will be required to complete documentation of all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
You will be working closely with other maintenance shop personnel to maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations and government guidelines.
This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues, manage multiple functions simultaneously, and work effectively in a team setting.
We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including an estimated salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and flexible scheduling options.
