Overview
A PRN day shift position is available at Southpark Surgery. This role involves working in an operating suite for the center and requires the ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas, assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Surgical Technologist at Novant Health, you will be part of a team that delivers remarkable patient experiences in every dimension, every time. Your commitment to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care will be essential in this role. You will also be responsible for fostering a safe patient environment driven by the principles of 'First Do No Harm'.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School Diploma or GED, and be a graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology program or have equivalent military training. Previous Surgical Technologist experience is preferred, and current Surgical Tech certification is also desirable. You will be required to obtain certification within 12 months of hire and demonstrate effective and appropriate customer service skills, verbal and nonverbal communication techniques, interpersonal relationship skills, and time management skills.
