Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team at Aerotek. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to ensure high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Work with engineering drawings, rough sketches, and verbal instructions to complete tasks
- Coordinate work with other groups to ensure meeting commitments
- Perform duties in a manner compliant with prevailing quality procedures and policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Complexity of Tasks:
This role requires the ability to follow standard practices and procedures in resolving basic and complex problems. Decisions are usually based on established precedents and may affect quality and accuracy to a degree. Errors may result in lost time and rework.
Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of assembly techniques
- Experience with tools, materials, machines, and equipment
- Ability to work from engineering drawings, rough sketches, manuals, or verbal instructions
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in Athens, Tennessee. The work environment is non-climate control.
