Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Southcoast Health System, Inc. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with acute respiratory failure, acute MI, cardiogenic shock, and sepsis.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Three (3) months experience in ICU or critical care preferred.
