Job Summary

As a heavy equipment field service technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing equipment at various job sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a well-organized and compliant service truck, adhering to all highway and safety regulations.
  • Strictly follow company, MSHA, and OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Accurately diagnose equipment repairs and promptly order the necessary parts.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and effectively within designated timeframes.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on repair status to job site personnel and equipment department supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Possess a clean driving record with a current medical card.
  • Have five or more years of proven experience as a heavy equipment field technician.
  • Be physically capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions, including standing, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing CAT SIS Web for locating and ordering parts.
  • Experience using ET/laptop tools to identify failure codes and aid in troubleshooting is a significant advantage.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
