POSITION SUMMARY
The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of all manufacturing machinery through mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic repairs, as well as preventive maintenance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots maintenance issues across all equipment.
- Utilizes assembly schematics, P&ID's, and technical manuals to calibrate machinery for efficient operation, applying electrical principles to resolve equipment challenges.
- Employs skills in plumbing, metalworking, and general facility maintenance as necessary.
- Operates and interacts with devices such as gauges, RTDs, pressure transmitters, I/P converters, and vortex flow meters.
- Mentors new team members on essential maintenance skills.
- Keeps the work environment safe and organized, adhering to GMP and safety protocols.
- Manages the Rich's SCADA system and completes required documentation accurately.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
- Collaborates with operational staff to provide basic troubleshooting support and assists with production needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in food processing, focusing on troubleshooting and repairing advanced production equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to train fellow associates in maintenance practices.
- Willingness to work as part of a self-directed team.
- Proficiency in using Rich's SCADA system.
- General mechanical knowledge along with understanding of electrical and logical principles.
- Basic skills in plumbing, metalworking, and general maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and GMP regulations.
- Understanding of proper machine operation and adjustment techniques.
- Capability to contribute to production improvement initiatives and team projects as assigned.

The compensation for this role is based on state law and represents a reasonable estimate of the base salary. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
