{"Job Title": "Maintenance Assistant", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at the City of Lancaster, CA. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our various locations, including Jethawks Stadium, Soccer Center, MOAH, The BLVD, LPAC, and other City facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Perform minor repairs, including inspecting equipment and systems for preventative maintenance reasons
* Clean facilities/field/stadium
* Clear trees, minor weeding and tree-trimming
* Move equipment by using hand trucks, forklifts, and other tools
* Maintain reports pertaining to repairs and cleaning schedules
* Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

* Strong communication skills
* Time management
* Mechanical and organizational skills
* Basic knowledge in areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry

Preferred Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in a college or university or trade school
* Certified Pesticide Applicators
