Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing comprehensive nursing practices that prioritize the patient as a whole, fostering a nurturing environment that emphasizes healing and wellness. Our nursing professionals honor the dignity and individuality of each patient, integrating evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and regulatory standards into their care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments.
- Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Provide education centered on patient and family needs.
- Coordinate care and develop individualized treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a current RN license or work permit in Kentucky, along with a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited institution. Those holding an Associate's degree with less than 10 years of experience are required to enroll in a Bachelor's degree program within 12 months of hire and complete it within 5 years. Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, or NRP, along with successful completion of a dysrhythmia class as mandated by the department, are also required.
