BFAIR Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to individuals with disabilities in a home setting. As an LPN Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their personal goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medical treatment beyond the scope of a MAP certified direct care staff, including administering medications and performing wound care
- Work closely with individuals to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence and self-advocacy
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Document all care provided and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Massachusetts
- At least 2 years of experience in the direct care of the elderly or disabled
- Valid US driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and complete pre-employment physical and TB test
Physical and Mental Demands:
The LPN Caregiver will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be exposed to physical and emotional demands, including:
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and healthcare professionals
