Correctional Dentist

UTMB Health seeks a skilled Correctional Dentist to provide high-quality dental care services to the offender population of a correctional facility. As a key member of our team, you will work under the supervision of the Cluster Dental Director, exercising independent judgment and contributing to the success of our Correctional Managed Care operation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform responsible general direct dental care services for the offender population, adhering to University procedures and Health Services policies.
- Contribute to the success of the UTMB Correctional Managed Care operation.
- Adhere to internal controls and reporting structure established for the department.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Texas.
- Current registration of license to practice dentistry in the state of Texas.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) controlled substance registration certificate.
- Current BLS-HP.
- Two (2) years minimum general clinical practice preferred.
