Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Madison-Kipp Corporation. This is a challenging opportunity to work on complex electrical and control systems projects, with a focus on designing and implementing innovative solutions.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing complex instrumentation and control systems, SCADA systems, communication networks, and advanced computer applications.
  • They will provide electrical, instrumental, and industrial controls engineering support for machines, including PLC controls, hydraulic circuits, electronic circuits, and troubleshooting of all breakdown maintenance items.
  • Key responsibilities include working on capital projects, reviewing electrical, industrial controls, and network drawings, programming, and commissioning controls systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in automating assembly processes, preferably in die casting, and must be proficient in PLC logic and programming.
  • They will also be responsible for providing presentations of complex technical findings and developments, and developing creative solutions that lead to a cohesive, structured, and secured environment.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or controls engineering or similar engineering function.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in electrical, instrumentation, and industrial controls engineering required.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be working in a heavy manufacturing environment, with moderate to noisy noise levels. They will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and hand protection.

Physical Demands:

  • The role requires regular standing, stooping, bending, or reaching above the shoulders.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
