About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center in Commerce Township, Michigan.

Job Summary

This is a full-time night shift position requiring 40 hours of work per week. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide respiratory therapy services throughout the continuum of care, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop optimal cardiopulmonary care plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy
  • Determine which respiratory care activities can be delegated to other care team members
  • Instruct employees and students in the principles and practices of designated respiratory care procedures/tasks and evaluate their competence
Requirements
  • Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program
  • Registration (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
