About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. As a key member of our Android engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mobile applications using Android framework components and Java/Kotlin programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
  • Contribute to the development of our mobile engineering team, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve our mobile applications and services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Android development.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Java, Android SDK, and Gradle.
  • Experience with Kotlin is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, including MVVM and MVP.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
