Aquatic Rescue Specialist

San Benito Aquatics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Safety Expert to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise swimming activities at the aquatics center and ensure adherence to safety procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Monitor and enforce water safety policies and pool regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for swimmers.
- Provide first aid and rescue swimmers in distress, administering CPR or artificial respiration as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment, facilities, and water to ensure they are safe and functional.
- Supervise and assist in cleaning equipment and facilities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Open and close the pool according to the schedule and hours of operation.
- Organize and oversee pool parties and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management and the Board of Directors.
Requirements:
- Current Lifeguard and First Aid Certification.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Availability to work 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM Monday - Friday, with potential early morning shifts and weekends.
- Competitive wage commensurate with experience.
