We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a key member of our educational resources team, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and educational development of students.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents to ensure students receive tailored support.
- Counseling and Intervention Services: Provide counseling and intervention services to students experiencing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for improving student outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert advice on psychological issues.
- School Climate and Wellness: Promote a positive school climate and contribute to the development of school-wide programs that support mental health and wellness.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid state School Psychologist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
