The ideal candidate will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery, resulting in desired patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with respiratory conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Implement and evaluate respiratory care plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-care and independence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or completion of one of the education requirements set by the NBRC.
- Active RRT credentialed by NBRC and active Registered Respiratory Care licensure by New Jersey board of Respiratory Care required.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
- ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
