Job Summary

The ideal candidate will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery, resulting in desired patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with respiratory conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Implement and evaluate respiratory care plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-care and independence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or completion of one of the education requirements set by the NBRC.
  • Active RRT credentialed by NBRC and active Registered Respiratory Care licensure by New Jersey board of Respiratory Care required.
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
  • ACLS/PALS certification preferred.
