Diesel Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at AKP Recruiting. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all types of trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair heavy duty components
  • Work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
  • Use computers for web-based training and work order system
  • Meet requirements for certifications
Requirements:
  • High school degree or G.E.D.
  • Must have own set of general tools
  • Be able to work with no restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or certification
  • Experience working with diesel engines and/or heavy duty trucks
  • Experience with Cummins or Detroit Diesel
