Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Taco Bell - Collinsville. As a Restaurant Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards. This includes preparing all foods to meet quantity and deadline requirements, as well as determining food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to the menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions.
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service.
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
  • Follow proper health procedures.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house (BOH) experience is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain.
