  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, and communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Serve Orders: Pick up and deliver orders from the bar and kitchen, and deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars prior to food or beverage presentation.
  • Respond to Guest Needs: Inquire about guest needs, observe the dining process, and respond promptly to additional requests.
  • Maintain Table Setting: Remove courses as completed, replenish utensils, refill water glasses, and be alert to guest spills or other special needs.
  • Conclude the Dining Experience: Acknowledge the guest's choice of restaurant, invite them to return, and obtain revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payment, and delivering bills and payment to the host.
