Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) team in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient advocacy, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care throughout the cardiac catheterization process.
  • Assist cardiologists and other healthcare providers during cardiac procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, assess cardiac status, and intervene as necessary to maintain optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding cardiac procedures, recovery, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes following regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of recent experience in cardiac nursing, with specific experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
