Key Responsibilities
  1. Course Development and Delivery

Develop and deliver high-quality physical therapy courses that meet the needs of our students. This includes creating engaging distance education and onsite lab experiences, designing assessments that measure student performance, and providing timely feedback to students.

Post-Course Assessment and Evaluation

Lead or participate in post-course assessment activities, including reviewing student and faculty evaluations, scheduling and conducting faculty team meetings to discuss course strengths and areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with accreditation policies and procedures.

Professional Development and Community Engagement

Stay active in clinical practice, participate in professional activities at local, state, and national levels, and contribute to the growth and development of our institution.

Requirements
  1. Education and Licensure

Earned terminal academic doctorate in a discipline appropriate for teaching responsibilities, or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (or tDPT) with ABPTS specialization in a discipline appropriate for teaching responsibilities.

Professional Experience

Active in clinical practice, especially as applicable to clinical education, and experience consistent with South College System for Faculty Rank.

Professional Activities

Active in professional activities at local, state, and/or national levels.
