Production Manager

The Manufacturing Supervisor is a key role within GreenBridge, responsible for overseeing the daily production on the shop floor. This includes supervising and coaching employees, meeting manpower requirements, and providing on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements, ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Monitor and maintain overall performance measures of the shift, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide comprehensive on-the-job training to employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization, including enforcing safety, quality, housekeeping, attendance, and conduct policies.
- Record and track production activities accurately, providing valuable insights for process improvements.
- Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to employees.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless system function and troubleshoot processes, equipment, and quality problems.
- Initiate new job start-ups, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Effectively manage scrap control and reduction, minimizing waste and optimizing production efficiency.
- Develop and implement plans to improve production processes, delegate tasks to subordinates as needed.
- Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Ensure all completed orders are closed out and products are transferred to the correct location.
- Attend daily production meetings, staying informed and contributing to discussions.
- Maintain current certification for First Aid/CPR/AED, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Work closely with Maintenance to maximize efficiency of all production lines.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Three to five years of production supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach employees.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when needed.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance, with a thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions.
