About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Class B CDL Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Operate a Commercial Vehicle: Drive a Class B CDL vehicle to customers and meet scheduled delivery times, ensuring the safe transportation of food products.
  • Unload Products: Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify Delivery Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle Collections and Payments: Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
  • Perform Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
  • CDL Class B: Must have a valid CDL Class B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read and communicate in the English language, able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.
