Job Summary:

Optum, a clinician-led care organization, is seeking an Endocrinologist to join our team in the Tri-State region. As a member of our care delivery team, you will be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care as an independent practitioner with a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals.
  • Manage a complete continuum of quality-based care within the interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with patients, primary care physicians, and other specialists to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests.
  • Work with a dedicated Medical Assistant and full complement of clinical and administrative support teams to assist with patient care.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process.
  • Fellowship-trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.
