Part-time Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Family Therapist to join our team at Newport Healthcare. As a Family Therapist, you will be responsible for facilitating individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of our clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate effectively with families and serve as their primary point of contact.
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies, as well as new Family Orientations and Welcome Presentations.
- Complete documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enter and save data accurately within our electronic medical record system and other necessary platforms.
- Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision sessions.
- Represent Newport Healthcare at meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.
- Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist in the state where services are provided.
- Experience with individual, group, or family therapy with adolescents/young adults.
- Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment preferred.
